Music = Life Support

6 September 2011 2,253 views 2 Comments

There are many great things in life such as girls and sex but above anything else, I love music. It’s like a life-support system to me. Every time I’m feeling down or stressed, a night of listening to good music with good friends and everything seems to be clear again.

The past couple weeks, I have been to quite a few shows but these are a couple of the highlights.

Sunset Strip Music Fest:: I look forward to this event annually and this was the best year yet. They shut down Sunset Blvd and had Motley Crue play in the streets. Deadmau5 was the secret guest and ended up ridding Tommy Lees drum roller coaster with him. Basically, they made Sunset Strip music history yet again that night.

Snoop Dogg:: This was my first time ever seeing him. He put on a great show. Also, it’s on my bucket list to smoke out with him. It didn’t happen at the show, but hopefully one day ;)

Identity fest:: Great electronic festival, especially the Dim Mak stage. The highlight performances for me were Steve Aoki , Crystal Method, Doorly, and Le Castle Vania. Best moment of the night was when Steve Aoki dropped the Dirty Phonics remix of Dan Sena’s new song, Song of Siren, with him at Drais.

For those who are ‘musically challenged’ and didn’t understand one word of this post; don’t worry, I included a boob picture.

P.S.  Richard Avery & I are getting together to shoot this week for Juliland & EvilAiden. Expect greatness =)
